THE MAIN EVENT:
You and your best mates will spend 1.5 hours becoming intimate with a 1.5 lb piece of whirling wood and metal as you learn, practice and then finally square off toe to toe in a group tournament that will result in the crowning of an Axe Throwing Champion. Our Axe Throwing sessions are run by trained Axeperts who will show you how to safely handle an axe and chuck it with accuracy while giving you tips on how to capture that illustrious Bullseye!
PRICE:
It costs $35.00 per person.
AGE REQUIREMENTS:
If you are under the age of 18, a parent must sign the waiver for you. You must be at least 8 years old to throw an axe. If you are under the age of 14, your parents must be with you.

WHY WOULD I WANT TO THROW AN AXE?

IS AXE THROWING SAFE?
Yes. Throwing an axe is similar to other target sports. Provided that participants follow the instructions and safety rules explained by our staff and use common sense, throwing an axe is safe. Our experienced and highly trained staff are in the throwing arena with you at all times and monitor your throws for safety and guide you through the entire process. Only participants that have gone through our safety course are allowed to enter the throwing arena. There is no passing of axes between players and players must follow specific instructions from their axe supervisor.
CAN WE BRING OUR OWN FOOD AND DRINK?
No outside food is allowed at the ranges. Catering is available in our private party room. Additional fees apply.
DO YOU ALLOW ALCOHOL?
No alcohol is allowed at Axe Throwing Tampa.
HOW DO I PAY FOR THE EVENT?
Please book online or over the phone 1-813-333-2935 unless you are coming as a Walk-in. Please check available hours for Walk-ins before you come. Times will change for Walk-ins.
IS CATERING AVAILABLE?
Yes, catering is available in our private party room. Additional fees apply. Please call us at 1-813-333-2935 and we will have a feast ready for your crew!
SHOULD I BRING SOME CASH?
Yes, tipping your Axepert is not necessary but greatly appreciated. You haven’t done something this fun in a long time and a large part of that fun is the non-stop energy that your Axepert will deliver on the day of your session!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Anything ‘lumberjackesque’ will increase your stick rate by 15%. Closed, rubber-soled shoes are mandatory. If you or your guests arrive in other foot apparel, they will NOT be allowed to participate
WILL SOMEONE TEACH ME HOW TO THROW AN AXE?
Absolutely! It is only a myth that lumberjacks are born with an axe in their hand. You will work with our Axeperts to learn the safe and proper way to throw an axe. You will fail at first, but then with a little coaching, you will get closer and closer to hitting a Bullseye.
WHERE ARE YOU?
Look for the self-service car wash, immediately fully by the hand car wash and then turn into the Dominoes Pizza plaza! We are on the second floor in suite 204.
